Through Reaching Home, KIPSS offers support to people going through homelessness or at risk of homelessness. If you need financial support, reach out to our Housing Navigator or Case Worker to explore options.

LOVING HOME OF THE COMING SPIRIT

Kekinow opened a Complex Care Housing program in May 2023. The Loving Home of the Coming Spirit houses 4 Indigenous women who are pregnant or have recently given birth, and who struggle with mental health issues or substance use. If you want to know more about the program or would like to have a referral package, please send an email to cch@kekinow.ca.

Cultural Activities

KIPSS plans cultural activities around the year. Currently, we have activities for Elders on Sundays at Sohkeyah, and also on Mondays in partnership with DiverseCITY and their Active Elders program. If you are interested and want to know more, please visit our events page.

TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES

KIPSS offers training opportunities to Indigenous students. If you would like Kekinow to give you a heads up for our next training opportunity, please send an email to ste@kekinow.ca.
