Occupancy Standards

Kekinow Native Housing Society is required to follow the National Occupancy Standards when providing accommodation. These standards determine the size of the unit an applicant would be eligible for.
  • 1.   There shall be no more than 2 nor less than 1 person per bedroom
  • 2.   Spouses and couples share a bedroom
  • 3.   Parents do not share a bedroom with children
  • 4.   Dependants age 18 or older do not share a bedroom
  • 5.   Dependants age 5 or older of the opposite sex do not share a bedroom.
